Description

United Church Halfway Homes is a community-based program aimed at assisting individuals involved in the Criminal Justice System. Within the agency there are three homes: Dorchester House which provides supports to males who have been diagnosed with Severe and Persistent Mental Health Disorders (Axis-I) as well as other individuals who fall within Correctional Services of Canada’s Mental Health Initiative; McMillan House which provides gender specific supports for females both with and without mental health concerns who are involved in the Criminal Justice System; and Dominion House which provides supports to males involved in the Criminal Justice System.

The multi-disciplinary treatment teams includes residential staff, outreach staff, consulting psychiatrist, as well as correctional, mental health and psychology staff from Correctional Services of Canada. Programs include:
